You can telephone the Volunteer Attorney Program to see if you are eligible for the services provided.

Once you have been accepted for service, informational papers will be sent to you to fill out.

When those papers are returned to the office, along with a $35 non-refundable fee, the Program contacts area lawyers who volunteer their time to represent our clients.

Service Area
We provide free legal services for eligible clients in the following counties:

• St. Louis - North and South, Lake Cook, Itasca, Carlton, Pine, Kanabec, Aitkin, Cass and Crow Wing

The Volunteer Attorney Program cannot accept any fee generating cases or criminal matters.
